Hey Renforth fam, love you all. Due to the growing concern and spread of COVID-19, we have been closing our church doors for the foreseeable future. As of March 17, Premier Doug Ford announced a provincial state of emergency, and it will take continued patience and diligence from all to ensure that the virus becomes obsolete. We encourage our families and communities to continue to connect with each other through the phone, Facetime, Skype, social media, text, and other means that practice social distance, and encourage everyone to stay as much in isolation as possible. The reason behind this is not fear, as we have an Almighty God that we serve, but it is out of love and care for others who may be vulnerable.
In light of this circumstance, we will continue to hold our Sunday services online only. Check our website regularly for more details on this. Service times will continue to be 10:30am, with live streaming beginning 10-15 minutes earlier. We encourage our families to join in worship through this means by logging in on their computers, tablets, or phones.
Small groups are also meeting online though the Zoom app (send us a note if you want to join one of the groups, either Wed or Thu night). We will continue to monitor the situation and follow proper protocol on even smaller group gatherings.
Additionally, as we temporarily suspend our in-person services, we anticipate that our regular giving will take a hit, so we ask that you continue to give as you are able.
We thank you for your prayers and support, and we miss seeing every one of you in person, our church family. Please continue to walk in wisdom and caution, and if you need anything from prayer to help shopping for groceries, we are just an email or phone call away. And to stay up to date on what’s going on at Renforth, keep checking our website, Facebook, and YouTube pages.
Much love,
Pastor Dave
